We walk the Tour du Mont Blanc and the Adlerweg earlier than the other Alpine trips, because they tend to hold less snow before Summer. We follow up with our higher Alpine routes in late June and early July.

We will recce our 2 Scandinavia recces throughout the summer, as well as contacting our local partners for on the ground information.

The lower land of our UK and Irish trails lets us recce them in March and April. We spread out across the Scottish Highlands, English Lakes, the Pennines and Western Ireland. It’s a rare year for snow to linger much into April, at least on our routes even if still on the peaks.
